Magical marbling paint
"Art can come to life in many different ways," Anna thinks. She has just tried her hand at marbling paper which is a simple technique to create colourful art and greeting cards. Learn how to make the same here.
Use the sisters' marbling paint set. If you run out of paper, you can cut watercolour paper to fit the tray.
Follow the instructions of the painting kit; mix the concentrate with cold water at a ratio of 1:10 in a paint tray, and stir the mixture thoroughly. Alternatively, you may pour the water and concentrate into a bottle first and shake it thoroughly to ensure the liquids are mixed adequately.
Shake your paint before use. Distribute the first colour in the water, and then add smaller dots of your desired colours throughout the water.
Use the stick to draw the colours and create patterns.
Place the paper on the surface and press it lightly.
Remove the paper using tweezers and leave it to dry on an even surface at room temperature. If you move your paper around while it is still wet, the sharp details of the paper can move. "Patience is a virtue," Anna says.
