Make macramé snowflakes
The sisters like to spend the long wait for Christmas on creating homemade Christmas decorations, which will adorn their home with a personal touch. Anna has just started making lovely macramé snowflakes.
Cut 14 pieces of macramé cord of approximately 25 cm.
Fold the pieces of cord and tie them to the wooden ring.
Use one of the cord pieces to tie around the next two pieces. Continue all the way around the ring. Repeat this step one more time.
Tie two pieces of cord outwards. This will be the ends of the snowflake.
Cut all the cords so there is approximately seven cm left.
When tying the last knot in each end, you may use some of the cut off ends to tie with, so the fringes will become more voluminous.
Unravel the ends of the macramé cord with a comb or your fingertips to fringe them.
Trim the ends for your preferred look.
Finish by sewing a loop onto the snowflake so it is ready to be hung.
