Make sensory bags with patchwork

Anna has sewn colourful sensory bags for fun activities for adults and children. “The imagination is the only limit to the uses of the sensory bags,” Anna says. With the sisters’ patchwork fabric, you too can easily sow your own sensory bags. Do like Anna and cut the fabric in 10 x 10 cm squares or make the exact shapes and sizes you prefer. Fill the bags with for instance dried lentils, beans or pudding rice. “You can give the bags tails of ribbons so they can be thrown and catched in many different ways. Or how about balancing a sensory bag on top of the head, shoulder or hand?” Anna suggests with a smile.

Clara kindly notes that the sensory bags are not suitable for children under 3 years. Children should be under supervision of an adult when using the sensory bags. “Make sure to carefully sow the sensory bags completely shut, so they are both fun and safe to use for the dear little ones,” Clara says.
