Mend your clothes with weavings
Give your clothes new life with the sisters' guide for transforming torn clothes with a woven pattern. "With a little creative ingenuity, you can avoid having to discard your damaged clothes," Clara says.
Use a pencil to mark a square encircling the hole in your clothes.
Place an embroidery hoop around the hole and tighten it.
Sew, with a needle and embroidery thread, from one side of the square to the opposite, in order to create the long and straight seams, as shown in the video.
Now choose a different colour of embroidery thread. Start from the opposite side of the square, and weave through the long seams you made before. The easiest way to weave is to use the side of the needle that is not pointed.
Continue until you have covered the entire square with your weaving, and fasten on the other side. Now your clothes are ready to be used again.
