Painted seashells
"Such a splendid seashell can be a decoration in any room," Clara says as she admires Anna's latest project. Follow the simple steps and create personal and unique additions to the home.
Cut out different motifs from pretty napkins.
Separate the napkin layers and use only the top layer for each motif. Place these on the inner side of the seashell.
Paint on top of the motifs with clear varnish. Make sure to spread the varnish on the entire seashell so its surface is even. Let this dry.
When the varnish is dry, you can use a small brush to paint the edge of the seashell and other details if you like. Here, Anna uses gold-coloured metallic paint.
Now, your shells are ready to become decorative elements in the home. The sisters like to use theirs as decoration bowls for jewellery.
