Pouffe made of rugs
Turn rugs into a large, soft pouffe and decorate it with Marrakesh-inspired patterns. "In this way, the decor becomes both personal and colourful," says Anna. "And comfortable," Clara adds.
Start by opening the attached drawing to see how to position the two rugs in relation to each other. Now, sew the rugs together on 5 out of 8 sides with double thread, using coarse, visible stitches to create a fine pattern along the edges.
Decorate the cushion with cotton yarn in the colours and patterns of your choice until you reach the look you desire.
Next, place a mounting pad or old textiles in the cushion cover, and sew it together on the remaining sides using coarse, visible stitches with double thread.
Your pouffe is now ready to serve as an extra seat in the living room or to rest tired feet on after a long day.
