Pretty paper braid
Anna finds great joy in discovering new ways to renew the wall decorations in the home. "Frame your beautiful creations, and experience how even a simple paper braid can become a work of art," she says.
Select paper shreds in your desired colours. You will need two times ten shreds divided into two different colours.
Place the ten paper shreds in one of the two colours vertically on a table in front of you, and then weave the paper shreds in the other colour horisontally in between the vertical shreds one by one.
Find an appropriate piece of cardboard or paper to use as a background with or without passe-partout. Optionally, you can choose a background in a dark colour so that your braided creation becomes more visible in the frame.
Cut or slice out your weaved paper braid as you desire. Anna has chosen to let the ends of the paper shreds have different lengths, but you can also use a ruler to cut them to achieve straight edges.
Fasten the finished paper braid to the background using double-sided adhesive tape, and insert it into a frame that fits in size. Now, the framed paper braid can be hung up or stand as decoration on a shelf.
