Rustic wedding invitation

"An invitation which you have made yourself adds an extra touch of personality to your party," Anna believes. Here, she shows how you can easily make a charming, rustic invitation.

1

Tear or cut your cotton paper so it gets the size of a A5 sheet. Fold the paper in the middle.

2

Take a willow tree branch and twist it around itself, so it forms a circle with a diameter of approximately 10 cm.

3

Place the circle on the cotton paper, and use it to indicate the space in which you can write the names of the bride and groom.

4

Write the invitation by hand or print it onto a sheet of paper so it fits an A5 page and glue it on the inside of the cotton paper.

5

Cut a sheet of transparent paper in the size of an A5 sheet. Fold this in the middle and then fold it around the cotton paper.

6

Cut a strip of linen or similar fabric. You can use a linen napkin, like Anna has done here. Let the edges be raw.

7

Wrap the strip loosely around one side of the willow branch circle on the invitation. Then, tie the strip loosely around the invitation. Tie a knot and let the ends hang loose.

8

If you want, you can add some fresh or dried flowers or leaves to the knot.
