At Søstrene Grene, we are working step by step to create a product range with as little climate impact as possible. Thus, as a part of our responsibility strategy, we have decided to no longer carry a number of single-use products that will merely end up as waste after use.
Instead, we wish to offer you alternatives that can be used again and again. This means that you may not be able to find the products in store that you are used to. Rather, we can work together to make a difference.
In 2023, we phase out all single-use cardboard and paper tableware such as paper plates and cups.
We do so because the products cannot be reused, but merely end up as waste after use, which is not compatible with our responsibility stategy to create a product range with as little climate impact as possible.

During 2022, we phased out almost all single-use plastic products from Søstrene Grene's range.
Amongst other things, we bid single-use plastic gift ribbon, transparent plastic wrap for gift-wrapping, and foil bags farewell. Instead, we focus on offering alternatives that can be used again and again.
At Søstrene Grene, we focus largely on offering you a wide selection of reusable gift-wrapping, such as gift bags with self-adhesive closures, satin ribbon, and fabric gift bags.
