Yarn sheep

“Can you feel the arrival of spring?” Anna asks her sister as she hangs the decorative Easter lambs and sheep on the spring branch in the living room. “Yes, dear sister. Both outside and now also inside, a truly special atmosphere is spreading,” Clara replies with a smile. Do as the sisters do, and create a lovely spring atmosphere in your home with decorative sheep made of yarn.

1

Draw a circle on a piece of cardboard and a smaller circle in the centre.

2

Cut out the outer circle, and remove the inner, smaller circle using a precision knife. Your circle now has a hole in the middle.

3

Make a small yarn ball that can fit through the hole in your circle. Wind the yarn around the circle until it is completely covered. Secure the yarn.

4

Draw a sheep’s head and small legs on the cardboard, then cut them out.

5

Tie a French knot on the sheep’s head as shown in the video. Use the same yarn to attach the head securely to the sheep’s body. Use the yarn to sew the legs onto the back.

6

Attach a yarn string so that the sheep can be hung up.

7

Now, the sheep is ready to adorn your home during Easter.
