Christmas ornament with a soldier

Cut one of the popsicle sticks in half and round off the two ends to match the others.

Place all the three wooden sticks next to each other on top of your glitter card stock. Use these as a template and draw a square and make another one to have two square pieces of card stock.

Glue the three wooden sticks onto the back of the card stock with the long wooden stick in the middle. Make sure to have the rounded ends of the short wooden sticks sticking out at each end. Then, glue the other square onto the opposite side of the wooden sticks.

Draw two eyes on the long wooden stick. Then, make a loop and glue it to the top of the long wooden stick. Now, twist a pipe cleaner around the wooden stick to resemble a soldier's tall hat.

Now, it is time to paint your ornament. Here, Anna paints the lower part of the long wooden stick blue and the end black. She also adds yellow details to the soldier's coat and she paints the eyes.

Repeat the same steps on the other side of the soldier so that it looks the same on both ends. Now your ornament is complete.
