Ornament with spruce print
There is no Christmas without green spruce if you ask Anna. She likes to decorate with fresh spruce, but she is also happy to use the decorative branches as inspiration for homemade decorations like here.
Use a rolling pin to roll out the clay until it is approx. 1 cm thick.
Place spruce on the clay and roll it into the clay so that it creates a visible print.
Use a round shape like the lid of a jar as a template and cut out the ornament. Smoothen the edges with a little water on a brush, and using a straw to make a hole for hanging. Let the ornament dry and harden completely.
Paint carefully with green acrylic paint on the spruce prints. Use a little water to dilute the paint, and it will spread on the prints almost by itself.
Add a string through the hole and hang the ornament in your home.
