Pretty plant markers made of air-dry clay

Create your own colourful plant markers shaped as vegetables and get a vibrant overview of the kitchen garden. "A decorative and practical addition to your world of plants," as Anna says.

1

Roll out the clay to a thickness of approximately 5-10 mm. Use the precision knife to mark and cut the shapes of the vegetables you wish to plant in the kitchen garden. "Be careful with the knife," Clara notes.

2

Next, use a straw to poke a hole in the top of the vegetables. Additionally, wet your fingers with water, and smooth the sides to achieve a nice, rounded edge.

3

Leave the clay to dry for a few days. Once the clay is dry, gently sand the edges with sandpaper.

4

Now paint the vegetables in the colours you like, and allow the paint to dry. Then paint the vegetables with clear varnish, and let them dry completely.

5

After drying, hang the clay figures on the metal plant stakes. They are now ready to be placed in the soil in front of your row of vegetables. "Good luck with the cultivation," Anna smiles.
