6 easy Christmas decorations with candles

Every year, Anna and Clara make their own Christmas centrepieces, most often with nature materials and candlelights. Here, you will find six easy and lovely ideas for centrepieces to spread light and Christmas spirit in your home.

1. Easy Advent decoration on wood

Find a beautiful piece of wood in nature and use it as the base for your Christmas decoration. Emphasise the natural look by adorning it with pinecones or other finds from nature, or add ornaments to make your decoration truly personal.

Beauty of nature. Make holes in the tree stump for the candles. Remember to place the candles in candle holders, as they must not be placed directly in the tree stump.

2. Christmas decoration in biscuit tin

Use a biscuit tin to create a cosy and personal Advent decoration. Adorn it with whatever you find most delightful.

How to. Place clay at the bottom of the biscuit tin, so candles and decorations can be firmly secured.

3. Christmas decoration in glass

Create eye-catching decorations with large glass containers where you can place moss, pinecones, Christmas trees, or perhaps even small explorers, such as animals or Christmas elves. "The dear little ones will surely help with the move-in," Anna chuckles.

Forest in a jar. Plant a little Christmas tree in tall glass jar, and create a small Christmas scenery around the tree.

Animals on a field trip. Small deer are discovering the little landscape in the jar.

4. Candles in flower pots

Create a cosy and warm expression by making a Christmas decoration with rustic flowerpots. "These are particularly lovely on a windowsill," Anna thinks.

Hygge and simplicity. Flowerpots, moss and candles. You really do not need anything else to bring Christmas spirit into the home.

A little bow. If you want to add extra hygge, you can tie a bow around the flowerpot with jute twine.

5. Classical decoration with calendar candle

The sisters believe one should never underestimate the red and green hues of Christmas. A classic Christmas decoration like this will bring joy to every table in the home. "Let the joy of anticipation rise as the Advent calendar candle gets smaller and smaller," Anna smiles.

Classic Christmas wreath. Create a classic and cosy Christmas wreath with spruce, fabric hearts, and felt balls.

Mix. Use different kinds of spruce to give the wreath a more natural and interesting look.

6. Decoration with moss and branches

Embrace a natural expression and let the little ones collect moss, cones, and branches from the forest to adorn your Christmas decorations. Choose a tray or bowl that matches your personal style. "Do not forget about candle holders," Clara reminds you.
