Join in as Anna and Clara host a children’s birthday party under the sea. Almost, that is. In the depths of the sea the sisters have found the inspiration for a fantastical celebration of children who dream of life among fish and mermaids.

Blowfish.Anna has painted a friendly face on the rice paper lampshade and glued on fins. “You would think it was a flying fish,” she smiles as she hangs the festive fish from the ceiling.
The wonders of the sea. When Anna and Clara host a theme party, they make sure to consider how every little element can be included in the theme. “Many little details make a grand impression,” Anna says.
Treasures of the sea.Anna and Clara were walking along the beach, collecting sea glass and precious shells in a little basket. Suddenly, Anna knew exactly how the place cards should look. “The beauty of nature is an endless source of inspiration,” she ponders.
Homemade.Fold a piece of paper and cut out a stencil in the shape of a shell. Using the stencil, cut shell shapes in cardboard. Glue on a round manila tag and decorate with beads, rhinestones, or other types of shiny decorations. Write the name of the guest in the middle.

Catch the ball in the mouth of the fish
Friendly competition. Anna has made little games of painted toilet rolls, scraps of ribbon, string, and felt balls. When the little guests require entertainment in the middle of the party, a competition in catching the ball in the mouth of the fish is great. “The winner gets a flatfish,” Anna chuckles.
Pearly decoration.”The thin layers of silk paper bring a light and airy form of underwater magic to the festive table,” Anna believes. As she places the felt ball on the soft paper, she fantasises about one day finding a real pearl the same size.
Handmade. You can easily make the airy seashells yourself. Layer silk paper and cut the edge into waves. Place a string along the middle, bend over the silk paper and tie a knot while you shape the silk paper into a shell.

Remember your swimsuit and snorkel, dear Anna.
CLARA
I wonder if we will find a treasure at the bottom of the sea, sweet Clara?
Hair accessory.“Fitting for a mermaid,” Anna says about the homemade headband with marvellous felt sea shapes.
