How to. Wrap metal wire loosely around the wreath, and use it to tuck in spruce or dried flowers. You can leave a large part of the wreath bare to highlight the simplicity of the branches.

Materials. Select flowers or plants that look nice when they dry. Here, the sisters have used eucalyptus, larch branches, spruce, and various types of dried flowers.

With different types of spruce, a lovely interplay of green hues emerges, the sisters think. This wreath is adorned with large bows, and here you can also mix both glossy and matte types of ribbons in either classic Christmas shades or your favourite colours.

Volume. Add a voluminous bow to your door wreath or use several bows with matching colours on top of each other.

A forest walk. Find different kinds of spruce for the wreath on a forest or garden walk. It gives a nice lively look.
