You can gather your indoor plants around the dining table to set a green scene while using the children's toy animals as table decoration which invites for jungle play. Dangerous detail. Add animal ears to the plates. Here, a dangerous tiger has come out of the jungle.

How to. Cut the ears out of cardboard and attach them under the plate with double-sided adhesive tape.

Monkey food. Use the same technique here as with the tiger ears.

Table decorations. Cut out green jungle leaves in cardboard and decorate the table with these. You will find the template at the bottom of this gallery.

Leaf party. Make a festive cake decoration with the same leaves in a mini version.

You will need. Two sticks (i.e. skewers), two toothpicks, string, cardboard, and a good pair of scissors. Glue the leaves onto the sticks. You will find the template for the leaves at the bottom of this gallery.

Jungle garland. Let the wild monkeys hanging from lianas help create just the right mood.

Treats from the jungle. Prepare a lovely buffet for the little, hungry party attendants.

A marvellous palm tree. Make a palm tree of two pineapples as a fun element in the fruit buffet.

Illusion. Add extra leaves to the pineapple's own leaves to make a more luscious top.

Create height. The two pineapples are attached with skewers. You can also make the palm tree higher by adding one or more fruits.

Jungle beverages. The buffet offers many interesting tastes like swamp water and jungle juice. The swamp water is elderflower drink dyed with green food colouring while the jungle juice is simply orange juice.

For the sweeth tooth. Fill ice cream cones with berries. "Quite a cosy snack," Clara thinks.

Use your imagination. Give the fruits fun names that underline the theme. Grapes can be called snake eggs and the bananas can be monkey treats.

Fresh ice lollies. Make healthy ice lollies from the watermelon by cutting the watermelon into triangles and adding the lolly sticks to the watermelon peel.
