Witch.
The witch is a classic costume and it does not take much more than a witch hat and a broomstick.

The witch hat is made of black cardboard, glue, and satin ribbon. The broomstick is made by tying dried hay and straws around a stick with jute twine.

Bat.
Make a bat mask from beads. Tie elastic thread in the sides.
Medusa.
Dress up like Medusa from Greek mythology who had snakes instead of hair. A hairband with snakes and a sheet draped around your body is everything you need.
Hairband.
Cut ribbon in various lenghts, and fold the pieces lenghtwise. Glue metal wire in the middle. Cut snake heads from ribbon and glue them to the ribbon pieces. Paint eyes on the snakes with paint and add a bead to the heads as tongues. Wrap the snakes around a hairband.

Decorate old jars with paint, cardboard, and paper, and bring them for trick-or-treating.
