Natural materials. Cotton paper, linen napkins, and dried flowers create an atmosphere of farmhouse romance.

Anticipation. Place a menu at each seat so the guests know what to look forward to. The handwritten menu cards add to the rustic style of the party.

Symbolic and natural. A ring symbolises eternity. "Which other symbol could be more fitting for a wedding?" Anna asks.

Tip. You can easily make the place cards with the wooden ring yourself. All you need is thin branches, a small bouquet, manilla tags or thick paper, and a bit of string.

It is easiest to attain the rustic country style with a soft colour scheme.

Nature's décor. Dried leaves and flowers are the perfect decoration for the rustic themed wedding. You can opt to dry your favourite flowers yourself and thereby make the celebrations even more personal.
