Wildflowers of the roadside. Pick wildflowers and display the most beautiful finds in different-sized vases. “Flowers of all sorts add beauty to summer tables,” Anna believes.

Practical and pretty. By placing several vases together, you achieve a bigger effect than by spreading them throughout the table. Furthermore, there will be more room on the table for bowls and dishes of food.

Make it a habit to always have ice cubes ready in the freezer during summer.

The taste of summer. Serve refreshing, summery drinks in practical lemonade dispensers. “Use chalk markers to decorate with lovely drawings and to tell your guests about the kinds of lemonade,” explains Anna.

Ice fruit. Instead of ice cubes to cool your guests’ drinks, you can also cut little pieces of fruit and freeze them. They look delightful in the glass while giving off lovely, summertime flavours.

Here you are. Serve salty snacks in little bags to be placed here and there on the table. “This way, everyone can reach,” Clara says.

Light up the garden. Clara has filled a little bucket with sand and placed neatly coloured candles in it. “An informal, but festive display,” she says.
